چکیده
For several years, the aviation industry has seen dynamic growth in use of composite materials due to their low weight and high stiffness. Composites are being considered as a means building lighter, safer, more fuel-efficient automobiles. Composite material relatively new kind unmanned aerial vehicle, commonly known drone. Incremental forming methods allow be quickly formed without need manufacture conventional metal dies. Their advantage is profitability during production prototypes small series products when compared with plastic forming. This article provides an overview incremental capabilities produced aluminium- titanium-based laminates, which widely used aircraft industry. In addition, for composites that not currently incrementally formed, i.e., aramid-reinforced aluminium advantages potential presented.

Expert System Applications in Sheet Metal Forming
Expert system can be defined as an intelligent computer program, a repository of knowledge, a set of rules, like a human consultant, all aiming at delivering accurate solutions/suggestions to a problem at any level, say during plan, design, manufacture, and quality control. Some of the important definitions are quoted here. “An expert system is a computer system used to distribute the expertise...
متن کاملDesign and manufacture a novel tool in the incremental sheet metal forming process and its effects on the process parameters
One of the methods for making prototypes is incremental forming process. In this method, the forming tool, performs a pre-programmed movement by the CNC machine and runs the desired path. This modernization process is used in the automotive, aerospace, military, medical and other industries. One of the most influential parameters in this process is forming tool. This parameter is effective in f...
متن کاملPrediction of Instability in Planar Anisotropic Sheet Metal Forming Processes
In this paper instability of planar anisotropic sheet metal during a few forming processes is investigated for the first time. For this reason components of the constitutive tangent tensor for planar anisotropic sheets are developed. By using the above tensor location of necking is predicted. Direction of the shear band is also predicted using the acoustic tensor. A finite element program is pr...
متن کاملNumerical and Experimental Analysis and Optimization of Process Parameters of AA1050 Incremental Sheet Forming
The incremental sheet metal forming (ISMF) process is a new and flexible method that is well suited for small batch production or prototyping. This paper studies the use of the finite element method in the incremental forming process of AA1050 sheets to investigate the influence of tool diameter, vertical step size, and friction coefficient on forming force, spring-back, and thickness distribut...
متن کاملThe Effects of Forming Parameters on the Single Point Incremental Forming of 1050 Aluminum Alloy Sheet
The single point incremental forming (SPIF) is one of the dieless forming processes which is widely used in the sheet metal forming. The correct selection of the SPIF parameters influences the formability and quality of the product. In the present study, the Gurson-Tvergaard Needleman (GTN) damage model was used for the fracture prediction in the numerical simulation of the SPIF process of alum...
